Our Sustainability roadmap is entirely aligned with our purpose: We CARE. We CREATE. We DELIVER. It is borne out of an individual and collective determination to provide long-tern benefit by all our stakeholders – the ever-growing LTS family, our neighbours and community, our customers, our suppliers, and the millions of patients who rely on our products every day.
Sustainability definition
For us, sustainability means long-term orientation on patient value, the planet, and people; supported by fairness and transparency. Sustainability enables us to thrive economically while minimizing negative impacts on the environment and society, securing our place in a rapidly changing world.
LTS strongly benefits from education, infrastructure, reliable value chains, peace, justice and strong institutions. As organization and corporate citizens, we are eager to hand back value and benefits: we CARE about patients, people and the planet, enabled by fairness and transparency. Enabling the LTS growth ambition, we make sustainability a core part of the strategy in which we create long-term value through our unique products and services while seeking to balance environmental, social and governance aspects – for us, for our stakeholders and for society.

A strategy aligned with our Corporate Value framework, committing to delivering our sustainability goals dedicated to patient benefit: we develop and manufacture innovative drug delivery systems to serve patients’ needs and meet customers’ expectations.
Creating sustainable value chains for people: we integrate sustainability into our value chains to secure and enhance the health and wellbeing of employees, workers in the value chain and local communities.
Reducing our ecological footprint on the planet: we will achieve climate neutrality and reduce our resource consumption, as well as implement circularity.
In fairness and transparency: we ensure credibility, transparency and comparability of our processes and operations by adhering to national, internation and industry regulations.

Carbon footprint
Committed to net zero
We will achieve “net-zero” emissions across our organization by prioritizing environmental aspects (scope 1+2+3) with a science-based target approach and improving energy efficiency by cutting down on energy consumption and using renewable energy. We will work proactively with partners in the supply chain to minimize industry´s ecological footprint.
We will conserve resources by reviewing the consumption and recycling waste. We will implement environmental roadmaps for all our sites, and an efficient usage of resources as well as reducing and recycling waste and exploring options for a circular economy.
Sustainable people
The health and well-being of our employees is a strategic corporate priority for us.
Our corporate ambition is to foster a culture of safety excellence and we are committed to achieving this by implementing proactive risk assessment, providing rigorous training, and continually improving our occupational safety practices. Safety is ingrained in our values, operations, and decision-making processes, ensuring the wellbeing of our employees.
At LTS, we are committed to fostering a culture of fairness and transparency, both within our organization and throughout our interactions with external workers. We firmly believe that gender parity, equal pay, and responsible supply chain practices are essential pillars of our corporate values.

The hospital had invited LTS to demonstrate the MOTOmed bed bike that we had donated to the hospital.

LTS signs commitment to set near-term and long-term company-wide emission reductions in line with climate science with the SBTi
LTS has also responded to the SBTi’s urgent call for corporate climate action by committing to align with 1.5°C and net-zero through the Business Ambition for 1.5°C campaign.

LTS has decided to participate in an energy efficiency and climate protection network because it enables companies to plan and implement economic investments in energy efficiency on a solid data basis.
