Job Summary:
Lohman Therapy Systems North America is seeking a Sr. Instrument and Controls Technician. In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex instrumentation and control systems.
This is a full time role located in West Caldwell, NJ.
• M-F 8:00am-4:30pm
• On call 1 week per month
What You Will Do:
- Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and maintain instrumentation for various systems.
- Calibrate, document, and repair instrumentation for systems that measure and control process variables.
- Provide electronic support to all departments.
- Technical troubleshooting of control systems, including PLC, HMI, instrumentation, and networking of industrial control systems.
- Read and understand control panel drawings and electrical circuits.
- Plan, estimate work, and order parts.
- Work collaboratively with departmental management and participate in projects.
- Adhere to all cGMP, FDA, and DEA regulatory standards.
- Wear appropriate safety Equipment.
Your Background:
- Associate degree in Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment troubleshooting and repairing computer analog and digital circuits on production lines and equipment.
- CMMS experience, Blue Mountain a plus.
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of mechanical principles, machining practices, and the application of mathematics and dimensions to production machinery and tooling.
- Ability to draft electrical drawings in AutoCAD or Visio.
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic/schematic drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CCST certification
